About Us

Initially founded as Mike’s Landscaping in 1983, Q&S Contracting has transformed from a local landscape business into a full-service, commercial landscape design and contracting company. We are proud to be family-owned and operated; in 2004, Michael Quaglietta and his son, Peter, joined together to create Quaglietta and Son LLC (known to their customers as Q&S Contracting). From their headquarters in Union, NJ, Q&S has completed hundreds of projects for families and businesses throughout Union, Essex, and Morris counties.

Today, Peter Quaglietta has taken the reins of the business; however, we continue to foster strong client relationships through our unmatched attention to detail and steadfast dedication to our quality of work. During our 35 years of service, we have expanded beyond traditional lawn care and maintenance projects, offering our residential and commercial clients landscape design solutions, custom paving and masonry, snow removal, and much more.

Q&S Contracting is fully certified, licensed, and insured. We are a member of the New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association, United Association of Gardeners, and Better Business Bureau (with an A+ rating). Q&S Contracting is also a Registered New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor and Registered Pesticide Applicator.

About Peter Quaglietta

Peter Quaglietta is a lifelong resident of Union, NJ, where he currently lives with his wife and two children. Peter is not only a proud graduate of Union High School (Go Farmers!), he is also ICPI and SRW certified. In his free time, Peter enjoys his time with friends and family, fixing cars, and coaching his daughter’s youth softball team.
